The indefinite ban that has been launched onto Ghana’s two most popular and well celebrated dance-hall artists Stonebowy and Shatta Wale by organizers of VGMA has one way or the other had a painful effect on many other musicians who featured these two legends on songs released last year
It has been noticed that practically all songs which featured these artistes have been ignored for nomination by the organizers of this prestigious awards and this has much to do with the mess caused at the 2019 edition of the awards.
Just few days after the release of the lucky shortlisted artists and songs for the 2020 edition of the award scheme www.urstrulypraiznews.com has carefully given evidences to this effect that is a list of songs which were ignored by the VGMA board for reasons based on the fact Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are facing a ban and so Charter House has nothing to do with them or their works.

Omo Ada remix which featured Medikal, Fella Makafui and Shatta, DJ Vyrusky’s Baby featuring Kuami Eugene featuring Shatta Wale on Never Again , Kwesi Arthur’s African Girl with Shatta Wale, Becca featuring Shatta Wale on Driving License, , KiDi and Shatta Wale as well as Steve Wonder by Wendy Shay which featured Shatta Wale, Kojo Antwi’s Akyekyede3 Nante3 featuring Stonebwoy ,Cabum’s Zakari featuring Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, Sarkodie’s Odo Bi featuring Stonebwoy,, KiDi’s Come Thru with Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy on Strength of a Woman are some of the songs which were practically sidelined .
