Ex-girlfriend and mother of three children of world’s renowned boxer Mayweather : Josie Harris has been found dead in her car
40-year-old Josie was discovered unconscious and very unresponsive on Monday night when Valencia police in California were given a tip-off at around 9.30pm sources say.
TMZ has said that, the ex-girlfriend of the billionaire was pronounced dead at the scene and the police did not treat her death as suspicious and do not believe foul play was involved.
Over the years these two lovers had series of troubles in their relationship which resulted in Mayweather being accused of abusing her on several occasions.
The undefeated American boxer in 2010 pleaded guilty for attacking her while two of their children watched in September.
Though the boxer was convicted of assaulting Harris in 2012 and served two months in prison two years later, Mayweather denied the violent allegations during an interview with Katie Couric.
He said: “Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs? Yes, I did. So if they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what? I’m guilty. I’m guilty of restraining someone.”
