A unit of the police in the Ashanti Region has apprehended two suspects believed to be in connection with the mob attack and subsequent murder of the #fixthecountry activist identified as Ibrahim Anyass and popularly known as Macho Kaaka.
On Friday June 25 after sustaining series of head wounds, the social media activist could not survive following a mob attack launched on him.
This morning, the 29th of June, the Public Relations Officer of the Ashanti Regional Police Command in the person of ASP Godwin Ahianyo reported that two persons have been arrested.
He further made it popular that, the suspects are Ibrahim Issaka alias Anyars and Fuseini Alhassan and are currently in police custody pending investigations.
“Both were arrested at about 10:45pm on Monday 28 June 2021 following police intelligence.”
