It is a loud feature of the political fraternity to see politicians sharing especially money for basic reasons of winning the votes and interest of legitimate voters in their respective constituency.
Well in as much as many political leaders and aspirants see this as s very nice incentive to win the hearts of many, Gomoa East’s very own independent parliamentary candidate in the person of Nana Kwaku Agyemang has taken time out to discredit such acts and has regarded it as just another form of deceitful lead on.
Speaking to Nana Agyemang in an Instagram live session with UrsTruly Praiz, he told viewers that he sees no sense in giving out money to eligible voters just to win their votes while that money could be used for something much better like developmental projects as well as job creations. Nana Agyemang believes this will rather last a lifetime than just giving the money out to be squandered just like that…
“If the people are given the money, they will just misuse it or probably misappropriate it but when used to create jobs, they will enjoy the benefits till thy kingdom come” he added.
Nana Agyemang went on to urge all voters and people not just from Gomoa East but the entire nation to think longterm and disregard all who have it on their minds to pursued them with money for their votes.
