The Public Health Initiative Ghana is an organization that promotes health prevention, promotion and health intervention programs in Ghana with much focus in rural communities.
Amidst the president’s ease of the restrictions amidst the pandemic, the organization in a press release has said much concerning the president’s decision.
The Public Health Initiative Ghana cautioned bodies that stand to bring huge number of people together to stay woke and never take advantage of the ease in restrictions especially religious bodies for reasons based on the associated risk factors involved.
The fear and risk escorting the ease in restrictions by the government inspired a section of the press release that reads: “we further want to warn that Ghana may go into a state of emergency should government and all who matter fail to heed to these and other warnings”.
It continued that,Ghana has a fragile healthcare system and may not be able to support huge numbers of covid 19 cases and so should not put the system to a test.
