A Dubai Court Has Already Sentenced One To Ten Years Imprisonment As Five Ghanaians Have Been Busted With Narcotics.
Ghana’s consulate in Dubai has critically cautioned persons traveling to the United Arab Emirates to be extra careful and very vigilant when accepting parcels to be delivered to others in Dubai.
This advice comes after the arrest of five persons for attempting to traffic Marijuana into the Emirates.
Ghana’s consulate in Dubai in a statement said one person has already been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for carrying drugs to the UAE.
“The consulate general wishes to advise everyone who has a relative coming from ghana to Dubai, to inform them never to take any message/parcel from agents or any other person to bring to Dubai except if they can inspect and ascertain the true content of the message/ parcel.” the statement said.
