Known Melvin Owusu Prempeh by birth, Joint 77 as nicknamed in the Ghanaian creative arts industry was once a very key member of the popular musical group dubbed Militants under the auspices of Ghana’s very own Shatta Wale.
For reasons not widely known by many, Joint 77 happens to be out of the musical group as he has taken it upon himself to do even better as part of the efforts to push the Ghana music endeavor and agenda forward.
Born in the year 1988 to Mr Frank Owusu Bempah and Madam Mercy Oye Bosompim, Joint 77 hails from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
He had both his basic and primary education at Datus Complex School and continued to Kinbu Secondary School in Accra for his final Senior High School education.
Being out of the Militant group, Joint 77 is out with his very first single produced under the command of Ghana’s loudest LaceUp International record label and it is dubbed “Show Your Love”.
