The sad report coming in tells that a hundred year old “Awoyo” Prophetess much known by name Comfort Aba Otuaa as been murdered in cold blood by her very own grandson.
Grandma Comfort who resides in Awutu Osardu in the Agona East District was murdered by her grandson over her refusal to give him money to buy marijuana(Weed).
The unexpected incident happened on Wednesday sending the entire Awutu Osardu community into a state of shock.
Many are also wondering why such evil intentions could arrive in the head of a person not just anyone but her grandson.
The suspect, Akwasi Danlaad a known marijuana smoker is currently at large after committing the heinous act.
Speaking to a close relative of the deceased, Joyce Tawiah said in an interview that, the suspect Akwasi Danlaad has oflate been threatening to kill someone and so this very barbaric act makes her convinced he actually planned to kill the old woman after she refused him the money.
The suspect reportedly made away with an unspecified amount of money just after stabbing his grandmother who was said to be practicing traditional birth attendant in the area.
Currently, the Ghana Police has taken up the issue to arrest the suspect to prevent him from killing or causing further harm to any other person.
Very sad enough, some residents of the community have threatened to burn the suspect alive should they find him anywhere around.
