The art of giving and on a larger note extending helping hands to the needy, challenged and less privileged has in recent times become a must rather than just a conditional act of kindness and Ghana and Africa at large has for the past four years experienced another selfless charitable organization whom since their existence has been doing the needful.
Sharearly foundation; a Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Companies Act,1963, Act 179 in the year 2018, with the aim of being the bridge of hope to the hopeless has got all of its activities embedded in seven Sustainable Development Goals.
Having the right vision and mission of inspiring and supporting the hopeless and vulnerable individuals and communities through empowerment, philanthropy and generosity and as well envisioning to build a society where the people are fully inspired while they live as true icons of hope and beacon of source of change and support for others respectively,Sharearly Foundation has done more than enough in their few years of operation as a charitable organization.
Sharearly Foundation has two major events to it’s credit and these are “Feed The Street Campaign” and “Ghana Corporate Philanthropy Awards”.
ABOUT “FEED THE STREET CAMPAIGN”
Feed the Street Campaign is a regular event by Sharearly foundation that is primarily centered on helping the people on the street, restore hope and make life better for them and these include the physically challenged, street children, teenage mothers, orphans, vulnerable students and schools etc.
Feed the Street Campaign was launched in 2020 and had its first event on 16th December, 2020. A very successful and impactful program that focused on thirty (30) disabled people within the Sunyani community.
During this program, the beneficiaries were informed to contact Sharearly foundation anytime they face any challenge. Among the 30 beneficiaries were 3 blind children from the same mother and Sharearly foundation has enrolled them all in school (Akropong School for the Blind) and has taken care of them till date.
The impact of 2020 Feed the Street Campaign Transends even till date.
As a matter of fact, the idea behind Feed the Street Campaign is not a one-day event. Feed the
Street campaign is meant to be a daily responsibility and that is exactly what the message is and the message we want to cut across. This time (2022), we are making the awareness bigger and better. We would want to communicate better to the general public that, the street is a home for many and the responsibility lies on us to provide and make the street a better home for them. Feed the Street Campaign henceforth is going to be a daily activity..
