Greater humanitarian endeavors and works done amidst global hardship is worth being recognized and praised.
Popular but young humanitarian activist in the person of Ministerapau has again been recognized on a global front by no other than one of Canada’s leading publishing magazines called the ‘Humble Beginning”.
This very one comes as a very big surprise as no one expected such a wide range of observation from a Canadian magazine and this is because the Philanthropist’s works and operations are more known in Ghana and Africa at large.
Mr William Apau on putting down the little about himself wrote:
I am the Founder of Magho Foundation (meaning Minister Apau Foundation of Giving Hope), a nonprofit whose mission is to provide a safe place culture and put a smile on faces in under resourced areas by creating opportunities and transforming communities. I have vast years experience in nonprofit management. It ‘s has always been my dream and passion ever since I could remember, GIVING HOPE to the hopeless. That is how MAGHO came about. For me to be successful at starting, or running a non profit foundation, I needed to expertly blend together the key ingredients that will make or break me. Moving forward, it was difficult getting support from family and friends towards my foundation initially. But God gave me an idea, by coming up with mini business adventures like Magho Shito (hot sauce in a jar – originated from Ghana), Magho Sheabutter, Magho Clothing, Magho natural Sobolo (an African local beverage) etc. Whenever these products are bought, a percentage goes toward the foundation to support humanity. Through the help of others I was able to find some type of stability. Although I could go on forever with thanks towards people who impacted my life. The entire model of my nonprofit is to enable the needy to objectively look beyond their daily struggles and critically think about their situation and how it could be within their power to start a positive change. I seek to empower and give communities a voice…..
Congratulations to the great man and a servant of God.
