Over few weeks now, the political and social fraternity has been set ablaze for reasons governing the president’s jet hiring with huge sums of money while leaving the country on a presidential visit to other countries for political and business talks believed to be in favor of the country.
The questions that has being on the lips of many has to do with why the president didn’t travel with the very designated presidential jet that has been used by all presidents since the governance of Ex President Agyekum Kuffour.
Reports that has come from internal presidential intelligence have it that, the very old jet that has been active over the years had generated a fault and therefore life threatening enough to be used by the president in recent times.
Even though this explanation has been seemingly reasonable, many have not been convinced and are on the mission to probe more into the very reasons for this unreasonable action as political analyst in the person of Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Egyir calls it.
Speaking on Kfm TV’s Ghana Nti with Ephia Stard Edna on the 21st June,2021, the young outspoken man made his candid opinions known saying that, he does not comprehend why the same president who has made Ghana hit difficult scenes in recent times will carry huge sums of tax payers money to hire a jet and “just be flying in the air while citizens are suffering”.
He made it known saying, that money could be used to improve on the school feeding programs and infrastructures of schools rather that going into such activity which will not benefit the Ghanaian people in any way.
