Ghana is currently facing one very serious problem and that is insecurity. The current rate at which armed robbery and murder is invading the country is practically alarming and this has left most Ghanaians in typical fear and panic.
Day in and day out, attacks on human lives in several forms for ritual reasons,theft and power among others is been recorded in the country and many have attributed this rampancy to the fact that the economy is in crisis and so everyone is trying all the possible means to survive. The name of the sitting government has by this means being on the lips of many.
Speaking on Kfm television this morning among other political colleagues, Outspoken communications team member of the New Patriotic Party in the person of Hajia Hawa Haruna urged Ghanaians to drop all political differences including party ethnicity and come together to fight these hard times together.
In her submissions, she made it loud that, indeed the country is in difficult times and much of the blame can be attributed to the invadence of the deadly Corona virus pandemic which resulted in most businesses coming to a halt which in turn affected economic growth along the fight for the reduction of it’s impact on the Ghanaian people.
Hajia said that, notwithstanding the effects the pandemic brought Into the economy, it is of no justification to resort to killing and armed robbery to survive as she believes there are other legitimate means to survive.
She explained her strong believe that most of these criminals however could be foreigners and so urged the various national security agencies to tighten up their security measures to keep the country in the safest zone.
