Since time in memorial, Leadership in terms of position occupancy in Ghana in particular has being “who you know” and “which party you support” and this is very evidential in the current state of the country we live in.
Across time and space, it can be very well noted that, head positions of “most” of the government owned offices at any point in time are being occupied by members of the sitting government and most often devoid of skills and expertise in such fields and this is more seen at the local levels.
Making emphasis to this was the General Secretary of the GCPP in the person of Citizen Ato Dadzie who made it known that, it is clearly uncalled for and a typical waste of resources to employ people onto national duties based on the parties they belong to rather than their qualifications, skills or expertise.
Speaking to Efya Stard Edna on Ghana Nti live on KFM television on the 14th of June, 2021, the political figure made it loud that, if employers will only rely on party people for the discharge of duties devoid of weather they have the necessary skills or expertise, then they will always get it wrong.
