Former national security coordinator in the person of Brigadier Nunoo-Mensah upon his claims that if the government does not wake up and effect some changes to the economic happenings and it associates, there would be a possibility of history repeating itself has raised a lot of eyebrows and concerns.
The Brigadier in a submission that flooded social media made it known that, there could be possibilities of the reoccurrence of the “June 4th Uprising” due to the hardship Ghanaians have had to endure for long moments now in the Akuffo Addo administration.
Following these very claims by the security specialist, Hajia Hawa Haruna; a key Communication team member of the New Patriotic Party was invited over to share her thoughts on this very development on 8th June, 2021 live on Kfm television.
Addressing the issue, the outspoken woman first commeded Nunoo- Mensah for duly updating the Ghanaian people on his opinion with regards to the current economic situation of the country. However, Hajia Hawa made it loud that, it was very well unnecessary and irrelevant for the former national security coordinator to end his submissions with the fact that, the country could see a reoccurrence of the June 4th Uprising. She said that, upon hearing this from the brigadier makes it look like he already has a plan or something hidden in his thoughts adding that, this is only meant to incite negativity in the minds of the people.
Hajia Hawa Haruna told Ghana Nti host Efya Stard Edna that, Ghana is not the only country struggling economically as she believes it is a continental illness. She recounted the fact that, it was well published by world special economic analysts that, the world and especially Africa will see hardship in relative forms in the course of fighting the Covid-19.
She promised Ghanaians to believe in the NPP government for a good change in less than a year as the president is on a mission to set Ghana on greatness.
