For quite a long period of time now, Ghana’s educational system has seen series of rise and fall in terms of standards and this has caused the nation more harm than good. The country as at now finds itself in a situation where, the aftermath of completion favours very few people thereby rendering the majority jobless and this has been attributed to the lack of proper teaching and learning systems and provisions as well as policies.
The unstable policies the Ghanaian educational system is seeing in recent times has raised eyebrows as well as concerns and this has to do with the difference in ideologies education-wise between political parties that come into power across time and space.
Citizen Ato Dadzie of the GCPP following this very development has recounted lots of happenings in the past in comparison to the present on Kfm television with Efya Stard Edna dated 7th June, 2021.
Speaking on his opinion as to the reason for the fall in proper educational administration and it’s associated issues, the lawyer made it known that, the current educational system (teaching and learning) unlike first typically lacks practicalities and the basics of doing things. Citizen spoke about the fact that, gone are the days where practical lessons were taken serious to the extent that, just after Junior High School then Junior Secondary School, students could do a lot on their own as these things they studied in school become skills which were easily been able to be turned into Job opportunities.
