Fred Ntow Boateng-Koley Klotey Parliamentary Candidate (LPG)
A clear case of “wine being used as water” has been experienced during the week in Ghana as an ambulance that is supposed to be on standby purposely for the evacuation of the sick as well as for emergency health care purposes has been seen carrying bags of cement.
The vehicle meant for crucial times with regards to health has seen typical unprofessionalism and this has caused the Ghanaian people to speak loud words into the ears of the very people that matter in this situation.
Upon a call on the Ghana Ambulance Service to explain the reason for this very act of unprofessionalism and total breach, the PRO of the service responded hours after and made few claims adding that, the ambulance had faults with it’s gearbox and fir that matter had to be sent to a mechanic.
In his submissions during a press briefing, the PRO said a lot of which part meant that the authorities have very little idea as to how the national property ended up being used for such unrightful purpose.
Adding more tongues and opinions to this very issue comes a heavy one from LPG’s very own Hon. Fred Ntow Boateng who happens to be a communications team member of the political party as well as a parliamentary candidate.
Speaking to Efya Stard on Ghana Nti on Kfm television, the political figure said it loud and confident that, the PRO gave a very flimsy excuse adding that what he said never made sense to him as he believes it will not be easy for a mechanic to use a national property with such confidence in fact for an exercise of that sort adding that, an authority from that jurisdiction will definitely have a hand in this.
Fred Ntow Boateng made instances saying that, as the gearbox is faulty, it has still been seen on the road and very possible it could get an accident and probably result in killing or injuring others of which will be the cost of the government for it’s maintenance as well as taking care of the injured just because it is a national/government vehicle.
The young man expressed his disappointment in the loose operations of the Ambulance Service on this particular development.
