It is such a great feeling to realize that, from the many loud and talented male rappers the Ghanaian music industry can boast of, Eno Barony as a female has taken her rightful place in the rappers honour roll.
After a lot of sacrifices and hardwork, the highly recognized female rapper who has had her colleagues in the industry watching across time and space has finally been given the praises and applauds she deserve.
In as much as the tough Barony spits bars just as hard as her male counterparts, she still can’t seem to run away from the tag of a “female rapper”.
Sarkodie who is undoubtedly the biggest rapper on the continent on an exclusive interview on ‘Akwaaba Talk Show’ made it loud on his believes that Eno should not be tagged as a “female rapper” because she goes just as hard as the men.
He said “Eno Barony is like a full rapper. I don’t see her as a female rapper, I see her as an MC. When I say female rapper you can feel the feminine energy…rap has to be hard and Eno Barony is hard and so I don’t see her as a female rapper. She is just a rapper.”
Adding that; “She goes in hard with the bars…the stuff she says, guys could’ve got away with that easy but she still does it. As rappers we have our state of mind when we are writing and when I listen to her that’s what I see.”
