Kantamanto which happens to be one of the busiest markets in Accra’s central business district has seen the worse overnight as fire has gut large parts of the place.
Early reports according to eyewitnesses had it that the outbreak started around 10 pm on Tuesday the 15th of December 2020.
It has been made known that during the early minutes of 10pm the fire had become uncontrollable and forced onlookers to rush to nearby fire station for assistance.
Surrounding persons who spoke to UrsTrulyPraiz News reported that Fire service personel got to the fire station at around 11 pm.
Firefighters are currently on the grounds to help douse the fire that has so far destroyed many belongings and other marketing goods.
