French national leader in the person of Emmanuel Macron has announced a second national lockdown for at least the whole of November.
The president in a statement on some new measures against the deadly corona virus, he made it clear that starting on Friday, residents and people of the country will only be allowed to leave home for essential work or for medical reasons only.
He added that non-essential businesses which include restaurants and bars be closed down will leaving schools and factories still in operation.
International reports have it that daily covid deaths in France are at the highest level since April with 33,000 new cases confirmed just on Tuesday.
Mr Macron made it loud that the country risked being “overwhelmed by a second wave that no doubt will be harder than the first”.
The France leader also issued that people would need to fill in a form to justify leaving their homes, as was required in the initial lockdown in March.
