The very 15th address by the president of the republic of Ghana to the nation saw several new provisions and developments with regards to the continuous measures put in place against the spread of Coronavirus.
In his delivery, Ghanaians were made to know that our recovery rate was closely 96% which insinuated that things were gradually falling back to normal.
This great news has therefore necessitated the return back to school of some of the students in a couple of institutions especially those who couldn’t complete their second semester studies as well as examinations.
The president in his speech then stated categorically that on the 24th of August,2020 (today) some selected schools and institutions are mandated to open the gates of their campuses so as to grant their students the way to continue their studies and write their end of semester exams .
These institutions include UCC and all colleges of education affiliated to it, Technical universities and UHAS(University of health and allied sciences).
Students are encouraged to take up and observe all the necessary protocols set aside to help prevent the extensive spread and contraction of the virus.
