Following the nude picture shared by socialite Akuapem Poloo together with her son on the very special day to celebrate her son on his birthday, social media users have had the chance to share their thoughts on the issue with basically different views from different backgrounds.
Popularly known by his company @capturedsmilesmedia as well as other great initiatives like the @yorpledgegh ,Ghanaian born Uk based Media Personality Samuel Kwesi Owusu has also shared his thoughts on @akuapem_poloo ‘s viral photo that aimed at celebrating her son and Sammo as known among his peers thinks there is absolutely nothing wrong with the viral picture of Akuapem Poloo.
He made known his views as a comment under a post made by Urstruly Praiz concerning actress Berverly Afaglo’s take on the nude photoshoot on instagram.
He said: “ I don’t see anything wrong with that picture at all. The naked body needs to be embraced from a young age. Children needs to see it as a norm and as a natural part of biology. When society holds certain things as a taboo, it actually has the opposite effect and creates curiosity and abuse. By that boy seeing his mum in a naked form he’s less likely to sexualise the idea of a naked woman, hence will have more respect and understanding of women’s body. Only those who are indoctrinated to see the naked body as a secret/taboo will see the picture as a perversion.“
