Just after social media received the shocking news of Mr Drew’s Eat featuring Stonebwoy been blocked and deleted from YouTube, new speculations and evidences coming through indicates that a Ghanaian actually snitched on Mr Drew.
Screen recorded videos of an instagram chat roaming on social media shows critically that someone reported the issue to America’s Rotimi who happens to be the original owner of the song, ‘Love Riddim’, which Mr Drew sampled.
Copyright laws have it that, the exclusive right to reproduce an already copyrighted works applies to both musical compositions and to sound recordings and for that matter the copyright owner of the musical composition as well as the songwriters are entitled to mechanical royalties for the reproduction and distribution of any recording of that composition.
