
A fully prepared building owned by the landlord who murdered his tenant on Sunday, May 24 2002 has been set ablaze by youths of Ofankor.
This comes after the people in the neighborhood got pissed with the inhuman thoughts of the old man. The landlord by name Victor Stephen Nana Kankam was reported to have shot his tenant Spark Benjamin who happens to be a budding artist.
Reports have it that the property that has been burnt is found in the same house of the landlord where he killed the Spark.
Probing into the issue, the police in a statement revealed that, the landlord who gave multiple shots and killed his tenant did that over a woman.
A team of police officers led by DSP George Asare, the district commander who visited the crime scene reported a situation on a pool of blood believed to be as a result of the shots fired at Benjamin.
Speaking on camera with eye witness of the burning activity he said “when we got here, Victor Stephen Nana Kankam had gone into hiding. He does not live in the house that we burnt. He has purposely dedicated the house we burnt for rent. We went to his private residence so we could deal with him but he had also called his team to his rescue.”.
